June 2015 – Nexus Real Estate has advised a private investor on the acquisition of the Dutch headquarters of a global ICT company. The property, located in the Utrecht region, comprises 15,000 sqm and 500 parking places. As a result of its location, the building offers good accessibility with limited travel time to Amsterdam. The acquisition price cannot be disclosed.
Half of the building’s floor space is not in use at the moment. The business plan for this property includes a further renovation and upgrading of the office building, the central entrance area, the remaining office space as well as the outside area. The office building will be offered to the market by the new owner as a high quality multi-tenant office highway location at very competitive price levels.
Although this concerns an asset deal, Nexus has sourced the acquisition at the Dutch bank which controlled the sale as vendor is in bankruptcy proceedings.
