Nexus Real Estate has signed a new lease agreement with Vermilion Energy for 820 sqm office space on the 14th floor in Millennium Tower in Amsterdam. Vermilion Energy has committed for a period of 5 years to this iconic building on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
Vermilion Energy is moving from the Amsterdam South Axis to Sloterdijk Westpoort. In this area along the A10 ring road and the A5 motorway, there is a great development dynamic. The diverse business park currently houses companies mainly from the print, media and automotive sectors. The area is on the eve of a major transformation and, in the coming years, it will develop into an urban area where there is room to work, stay and meet. Investments are being made in good facilities such as catering establishments, conference rooms, shops and recreational facilities.
With the establishment of Vermilion Energy in Millennium Tower, almost the entire building has been let for the long term. Approximately 3,800 m² of office spac on the 6th and 15th floors remains to be leased. Several large tenants have already established themselves in the Millennium Tower building, including REED Elsevier, UWV and Gracenote.
The Millennium Tower building is part of a larger real estate portfolio that has been managed by Nexus Real Estate since 2019. Nexus was advised in this transaction by Cushman & Wakefield and Vermilion was advised by NL Real Estate.
