We initiate and structure investments mainly in Dutch commercial real estate. We specialize in bringing change management to (distressed) asset and/or loan portfolios, by improving portfolio KPI’s through aggressive and intensive commercial asset management and by providing refinancing and/or exit strategies for stakeholders. We have the hands-on, entrepreneurial approach that today's dynamic market demands.
Nexus’ principal owners provide a complementary and well-tuned team, with a combined experience in real estate of more than 45 years.
We bring a broad experience in real estate investment, asset management, financial management, real estate financing as well as corporate finance and (re)structuring expertise. As a result, we are able to provide comprehensive asset and fund management capabilities.
The team
Nexus was founded in 2015 with the objective of becoming a strong, independent, local operating platform for the Dutch real estate market. Our objective is to continue managing our organisation as a dynamic and entrepreneurial business. Our boots-on-the-ground approach helps us to execute our investment strategies and we pride ourselves on delivering value by actively engaging with our properties and stakeholders.

Jochem den Daas - Fund Management
Founder and Partner
Jochem co-founded Nexus in 2015 as he recognised the need for a strongly aligned operating platform in a market that was, at that time, still recovering from the 2008 crisis.
At Nexus, Jochem focuses on acquisition and disposal processes as well as fund management. In 2019, Jochem was involved in the largest office transaction in the Netherlands with the acquisition of the Commerz Real portfolio for over €370 million.
Pieter Romme - Asset Management
Founder and Partner
Within Nexus, Pieter is responsible for all asset management activities. His ability to spot commercial opportunities has resulted in an outstanding track record for our managed portfolios.
Pieter co-founded Nexus with the strong belief that decisions on the occupier side of real estate are based on both financial facts and emotion. From that perspective, each asset needs a clear and realistic asset management strategy—based on strong market evidence—as well as a custom-made marketing approach. Pieter takes pride in identifying and realising the unlocked potential in each asset under management.
Paul Goossens - Financial Management
Partner
Paul joined Nexus in 2016 to assume responsibility for all financial and administrative activities and to join his former colleagues, with whom he had worked closely in his prior position. Paul brings a strong combination of real estate knowledge and financial skills, is a firm believer in the strength of teamwork and values close co-operation with our stakeholders.
Noor de Voogd - Asset Management
Partner
As of October 1, 2023, Noor de Voogd has stepped in as a partner at Nexus Real Estate. Noor joined Nexus in 2020 and is responsible for managing the Century portfolio. Prior to Nexus Real Estate, Noor worked at Apleona Real Estate and was responsible for leading the Property Management team on the Century portfolio in her role as Key Account Manager. Noor started her career in 2012 as a Leasing Agent at VB&T Real Estate Management in Eindhoven. Here she was responsible for the letting of a large residential portfolio on behalf of various clients.
In addition to her work as Asset Manager at Nexus, Noor earned her Master's degree in Real Estate at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate in 2020, where she has since also been a guest lecturer for the investment analysis course of the MSRE program.
